She graduated from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia in 2005, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Minor in Communication Studies. She was heavily involved in sports during her undergraduate years. While attending West Virginia University, she became the President of the Sports Club Federation and oversaw the funding and operations of the 23 sports-club teams associated with the University. She also acted as the President of the West Virginia University Women’s Rugby Team, and was a member of the West Virginia University Fencing Team. Randee received her Juris Doctorate in 2008 from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. While in law school, she received a Certificate of Merit for Research and Writing, and became an editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Journal of Practical and Clinical Law. Randee was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

In her free time, Randee enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family and retired racing greyhound, Sophie.
